Work Daily
- Production Holding: Strictly follow the production flow of standardization, control the details and quality. Repetitive work on the production line may be necessary, but accuracy is required.
- Managers: In many of Toyota's rooms, stakeholders and project team members will find a variety of graphs showing project progress, issues, and solutions. They inspect the plan daily, participate in cross-functional PDCA meetings, and communicate with people from various departments as they work on the project.
- Sales Representative: The Sales Representative is responsible for understanding the needs of customers, explaining the features, performance advantages, and after-sales service of Toyota's automatic vehicle models, assisting customers with test drives, answering questions about pricing, specifications, and financial financing, and working to fulfill the notes. They must also maintain relationships and conduct relations with customers. Office Environment
Office Design
Taking the office of tri-ad, a senior R&D company of Toyota Research Institute, as an example, the design philosophy is progressive, with "AI PALETTE" as the main philosophy, emphasizing the coexistence of artificial intelligence and diverse employees, and the three pillars of creating diverse inspirations, high efficiency, and happy life and work. The design of the space emphasizes natural decoration, with details embodying Japanese elements such as brick walls, board partitions, and bonsai trees. Combined with green plantings, they create an aristocratic beauty.
- Facility Deployment: office areas include separate offices, conference rooms and open collaboration areas. The collaborative areas are flexibly furnished with furniture and whiteboards, which are useful for employee discussion, interaction, and free organization of work. There is also a large break area for communication and flexibility in the space. Like most of Toyota's rooms, also equipped with facilities such as small tables, chairs, projectors, magnetic whiteboards, etc., it is convenient for work review.
one's (living) environment
- Employee dormitories: Employee dormitories are supervised and the environment is not bad. Rooms usually have a separate balcony and the space is relatively large enough to satisfy the employee's basic living needs. The dorms have laundry rooms and are equipped with free washers and dryers.
- Peripheral kits: Near some Toyota plants, there are supermarkets and other living kits that make shopping and daily life convenient for employees. There are also some in-house restaurants and cafes that serve meals. There are beautiful man-made lakes, built-up mountains, and other green landscapes on some company grounds, creating a pleasant leisure environment.
